I think it would be nice to see a version of the platform available on a testnet. Do we know if there are any plans for that?

I think chances are good - because we should really make sure everything works correct before launching on mainnet.
I just saw a demo of State Channels yesterday and would personally like to see a testnet first before going live to make the release as smooth as possible, basically better safe then sorry if you look at other projects trying to release fast/early atm.
